Puget Sound Pilot Boat Association

The Puget Sound Pilot Boat Association has used Platypus Marine, Inc. for their services on three of their custom 77’ Nordlands. All boats are maintained and organized to the highest of standards. On the C/V Puget Sound, Platypus performed an engine removal and installation on both the port and starboard engines. The engines were craned out of the vessel using Platypus’s 50-ton Grove crane. When the engines were removed the paint team coated all of the bilges with Sterling paint products. The work order included relocating machinery, electronics and fabrication of custom brackets for machinery. Before the vessel’s launch, a fresh coat of wax was buffed and hand applied to the hull and topsides of the C/V Puget Sound.
