Just a bit before summer began, ‘Full Circle’ launched from Platypus Marine to enjoy a summer of boating up to Alaska. Platy jumped aboard and we have been following there adventures ever since. Here is an update:
Platy was too tired after his many adventures on the ‘Full Circle’ from Ketchikan to Tracy Arm to come out an play. He had been so intrigued to watch the whales swimming near ‘Full Circle’ and see the silent blue icebergs floating in the Alaskan ocean. What an amazing adventure indeed. But after so much adventuring he missed the sites at Misty Fiords National Monument and instead chose a nap (though he was curled up nice and comfy in the cabin of ‘Full Circle’). Luckily, Dave and Cindy weren’t too tired and they were able to explore Misty Fiords which is about 40 miles east of Ketchikan, Alaska. Misty Fiords National Monument, in an inlet along the Alaska panhandle, is a wilderness area that is part of the Tongass National Forest.
