Grand Slam – Veneer Repairs , a 65’ Fleming M/Y was hauled out at Pacific Northwest Shipyard for extensive repairs and maintenance. The knowledgeable and experienced captain directed Platypus Marine technicians to have the following work including the servicing and descaling of the main engine heat exchangers per RDI recommendation, leveling out the floor in the main salon, replacing the Whale Gulper 220 pump for engine room and applying Antifouling bottom paint to the Hull. Other repairs included veneer repairs on the master v berth, port stateroom, pilothouse, galley cabinet as well as the salon starboard window. The Grand Slam was then launched into the Strait of Juan de Fuca and completed her sea trials successfully.
