Marlins II, a hard working 84’ Jensen Marine steel fishing vessel out of Westport Washington recently launched after several weeks in the Platypus yard. She had her hull topsides prepped and painted along with new anti-fouling paint in zincs. A couple of new transponder fairings were fabricated and new sonar/sounder systems were installed. Her main engine was decoupled from the gearbox for some drive shaft repairs. New aluminium outriggers were fabricated and installed. Marlins II is heading back to Westport and then out to the Pacific Northwest fishing grounds.
