‘Tradition’ is Ready to Catch Some Fish
The 58’ Delta Seiner ‘Tradition’, out of Gig Harbor, Washington was just launched from our facility.
Work we performed, included but was not limited to, a complete yacht quality Awlgrip paint job of the hull, pilot house and fly-bridge. An application of fresh gray gelcoat to the inner bulwarks & work deck and we installed new black UHMW upper rub rails.
We fabricated and installed a 52′ diameter, neutral buoyancy bulbous bow. The hydrodynamic design and engineering on theses bulbs was done by George Roddan, BSc., P.Eng. Bulbs like this one, can create fuel savings of up to 10 percent, lower engine RPM and reduced operating temperatures.
She was bottom painted, had new zincs installed, running gear serviced and Prop Speed applied to the propeller.
Finishing touches included a brand new Satellite TV dome mounted on the top of the mast.
“Yacht like work! It’s going to be hard to make her go fishing! I never imagined it could come out so good, better than new!”
